I took this picture yesterday… it doesn’t really mean anything. =) I got a 90 on my EE test even though I thought I got a B… that’s handy. I think I need an 88 on the final (without a curve) to get an A in that class, but he’s definately going to be curving a bit, so I think I’m goooooood. Linguistics is a bit more shakey, but I think I can pull that off. w00t! I actually might get all A’s this semester. =)

My lab hours are canceled for the week! YAAAAAYAYAYAYAYAYAAA!! Although, I have to give a make up test tomorrow during my usual lab hours, but I missed my lab hours last Friday, so this makes up for that. Wheee, I can sleep in a lot on TH! =D

Well there goes the streak, I forgot to update yesterday. Heh, oh well, was fun while it lasted. =) Here’s a pic from setting up at Liquid, a few minutes before I took a nap…

I figured since I’ve gone this far without missing a day in blogging, I might as well not let the fifth pass by without one. Luckily, I managed to hit the “New Entry” button just in time! =)

Anyways, Van and I skipped working out (my fault? =) to go to Mt.Bonnell with two of his coworkers. I don’t think I really got too many good shots (cause I didn’t have a tripod and the lighting was horrible), but the one above’s… alright I guess.

Tomorrow, and maybe/probably Sunday, I will be in UnrealEd. A lot.

Well, I wrote a quick script to grab RSS feeds from various blogs/sites. You can see the result on the left over there. =) Apparently, I pounded away on the /. servers a bit too much as I’m banned at the moment (which explains the headlines underneath that). Anyways, that ban should go away in a bit as I’ve changed my reader to update every 35 minutes instead of every 10 which they didn’t like so much.

Update: Yay! I think I’m unbanned now!

I’m going to go ahead and say this before the major news networks do. Bush wins. Unless if I’m being outright lied to or there is some crazy fact I am not aware of, I don’t see how Ohio is considered a “too close to call.” Same for New Mexico (although I’m a bit less sure about that as I don’t know how many provisional/absentee ballots are out there for NM, but I doubt enough to swing 11k in favor of Bush).

Let’s look at the numbers. Right now, with 99% precints reporting in Ohio, Bush has 2,777,645 votes and Kerry 2,632,547. So that’s about a 145k lead. Let’s say there’s a generous 250k absentee and provisional ballots still out there and ALL of them are valid. So, in order for Kerry to tie (x is percentage of votes Kerry needs):

250x = 250(1-x) + 145
250x = 250 - 250x + 145
x = 395/500 = .79 = 79%

So essentially, Kerry needs to get 80% or more of the absentee/provisional ballots to win. Does that seem likely? I think not. It seriously seems like the media is trying to make this another Florida ‘00.
